Värnamo Mätcenter AB has been working with advanced metrology since 2001 and is based in the Hornaryd industrial area in Värnamo. The company was founded by Peter Bäckman, who previously worked in metrology at APM August Pettersson. Following a growing demand for external measurement services, the business was started and quickly established as a reliable partner in industry.
Today, the company consists of four full-time measurement technicians and a modern machine park with four CNC-controlled coordinate measuring machines. The assignments include customers throughout the Nordic region, from major players in the automotive industry to regional manufacturing companies with high demands on accuracy and traceability.
Qualified metrologists with extensive experience
We work daily with components, fixtures and prototypes that are often part of ongoing product development. The company handles many confidential projects and assists designers with drawing reading, measurement strategies and documentation. The work is characterised by high accuracy, repeatable precision and clear communication with the customer.
